For many families, early fall is a perfect time to go camping. Though temperatures are starting to get cooler, it’s possible to have heat waves that can be dangerous, especially for the little campers who don’t have fully developed sweat glands. 

• If hot weather is in the forecast, do your more physical activities in the morning or evening when temperatures aren’t as high.

• Be sure to pack sunscreen, hats and cotton clothes.
