How to Create a Stress-free Homework Area & Routine for Kids!

Want to set up a homework space and routine for your kids? Here are four tips!

  • Create a schedule chart with your child. Include sports and other after-school activities, then block out times for homework.
  • Find a great homework space that’s within your line of vision -- not in the busiest place in the house and somewhere kids can leave books/supplies without having to constantly move things.
  • Allow 15 minutes after school for your child to have a snack and refresh before starting homework.
  • Suggest he do homework in the following order: easiest, hardest, all others.

A homework space and routine can really help. Try it!
