Ask Your Teens to Describe Themselves! Here’s Why & How!

Asking teens to describe themselves seems counter intuitive; they are generally a negative bunch. But do this at the dinner table and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. (Ignore any eye rolling.)

  • Everyone list three POSITIVE adjectives to describe someone else at the table.
  • Everyone list three POSITIVE adjectives to describe him or herself.

Enjoy what you hear! Nice. Kind. Funny. Helpful. Patient. Gorgeous. Strong. Faithful. Hilarious. Creative. Clever. Wise. Friendly. Thoughtful. Majestic. Teens are funny, if nothing else!

I like this, Lisa Lane Filholm ! I think we'll try it at dinner this weekend. Thanks!
