Sleep is important for our kids' health! Here are some tips to help your kids get enough sleep.
- Turn off electronics: During the week, have no television, computer or tablet usage for anything other than school purposes. Studies show that the frequency of electronics four hours before bedtime can disrupt sleep. Make electronic usage a treat only designated for weekends.
- Start a routine: Consistency is key for sleep. Start and end your kids’ bedtime with the same routine each evening. Keep everything from initial bedtime to story time or teeth brushing on a timely schedule. Implementing this schedule will help your kids' overall sleep patterns.
