Personal Fitness Trainers: Think They're Just for the Rich & Famous? Think Again! by Mindy Hudon, M.S., CCC-SLP

I used to think that personal trainers were only for the rich and famous, but I was wrong! They're more affordable than you think and can make your investment at a gym worthwhile. Anyone can benefit from a personal trainer to help support, educate and, especially, motivate you to achieve your fitness goals.

  • Scheduling time with a trainer will help get you to the gym.
  • Make sure that you find a trainer that is willing to listen to you to ensure that you're working toward your personal goals.
  • Find someone that will encourage you to continue rather than push you too much that you want to stop!

Good luck!

Thanks. I'm not a fitness expert just a "want to be in shape" kind of gal!
