Want to Lose Weight? Here's What to Eat for Breakfast!

Studies show that skipping breakfast makes our brains seek high-fat calories later in the day. Skipping breakfast also may lead to constant grazing and more eating throughout the day. To start the day right, try combining protein-rich foods like yogurt and eggs with foods high in complex carbohydrates like:

  • whole grain bread
  • cereal
  • fruit 
  • vegetables

This combination may help you stay full until lunch and prevent spikes in blood glucose levels. Keeping your blood glucose levels under control is a key to resisting the mid-morning snack attack or muffin tray at your morning meeting!
