Boost Kids' Immune Systems: Ensure They Get Enough Sleep!

With the change in the weather, it might seem inevitable that your little ones are going to come down with every cold bug going around. But you can do something to stop cold season before it starts. Since the body repairs itself during sleep, getting enough ZZZ’s is absolutely essential for immune system health. The shorter days make it even easier to put your children to bed a little earlier.

  • 5- to 10-year-olds need at least 10 solid hours of sleep each night to be at their best.
  • Tweens and teens should get at least 8.5 hours.

Don't forget your own sleep needs, Mom!
