Life Is an Echo: How to Get the Most Out of Life, Even on the Hard Days

I’ve been wrestling with some hard stuff lately. Last year was a challenging year and this one has already presented some new challenges, both for myself and for family and friends. It can be easy to get down, to give in to it, to focus on the negative. But I don’t want to. I need to resist doing so.

You know how sometimes you’ll get just the right message at the right time, from a friend or God or the Universe, or your little one? Well, the other day I received a message from myself – from five years ago. This is only possible thanks to the divine intervention of ... Facebook memories. It’s a quote I shared then that I must have needed to hear at that time in my life:

“Life is an echo. What you send out comes back. What you sow you reap. What you give you get. What you see in others exists in you. Regardless of who you are or what you do, if you are looking for the best way to reap the most reward in all areas of life, you should look for the good in every person and in every situation and adopt the golden rule as a way of life.” – Zig Ziglar

I need this reminder again today. Maybe you do, too.
