Self-Care: Eat the Cake! Drink the Coffee! Drink the Wine! What Are You Doing for YOU Today?

Who doesn't love me time (aka self-care)? Me time covers many areas of our lives:

All of these things make us a better version of ourselves – inside and out. Guilt free! Yes, I said guilt free! It's really easy to get caught up with taking care of everyone and telling ourselves “when I have more time” or “someday.” I'm crazy busy, but kept my scheduled hair appointment. Nothing better than getting hair color freshened up and a new haircut. It’s like a breath of fresh air. It feels amazing!

So, listen up! Stop making excuses, because we all know if it's not scheduled it's never going to happen. Don't wait for a special occasion or holiday to take care of you. Don’t give yourself excuses. I’m too busy. I’m too tired. Blah blah blah. Turn that negative voice off!

Schedule your workouts, schedule your salon appointments, schedule shopping trips with friends, don't forget regular date nights with your loved one, take those naps, eat the cake, drink the wine, drink the coffee and live each day to the fullest! You deserve to take care of your body, mind and spirit!

Did a 4 mile walk/jog today while my kiddo was at preschool! Felt good. Wrote a note to my grandma! Made me happy. Just downed a vanilla latte at work to power me through until midnight! YUM! It's the little things. :-D

Sounds like an awesome day to me! Vanilla lattes are my favorite, with coconut milk. Mmmmm! Thanks for sharing how you took care of YOU today! xoxo

Sometime my "me"time is as simple as being able to go to the bathroom in peace without my 3 and 4 year old asking me for something. I rarely get to do self-care but a few days ago I made a face peel for me and my husband and we did it together. It was fun.

I hear ya Alice V ! Between 4 kids & 3 dogs I always seem to have an audience when trying to pee LOL! Schedule your self-care and then it becomes a habit/routine. After I get all the kids to bed I do some nighttime self-care. Face masks, I have recently been putting eye patches under my eyes for 30 minutes while I decompress from all the craziness.. Hmmmm! Sounds like a possible #30Seconds tip. Face peels are fun! Love your husband did it with you. I'm still trying to talk my hubby into letting me do his face.

"always have an audience" LOL
Isn't that the truth!? Nothing is sacred with kiddos unless you are intentional!
