No Time for Fitness? Here's How & Why to Find the Time for Exercise Every Day!

As a personal trainer I am lucky enough to meet people who are ready to make a change in their life. Kids, jobs, illness, etc., have made it impossible to commit to exercise. They’ve come to me for help when lack of exercise has caught up with them with unwanted pounds and health problems.

If I could meet people before  they have all of those perfectly valid reasons to not make fitness a priority, I would tell them why they must. I’d tell them to find something fun that gets them moving now so later they’ll spend less time at the doctor’s office and more time living! I would tell them to schedule exercise every single day. I would tell them that by scheduling it this way it becomes part of a routine just like brushing your teeth or taking a shower. Plug it in somewhere because your future depends on it.

I fought my way back from difficult pregnancies, an eating disorder, back surgeries, to name a few, but I knew exercise and good health was achievable because I’d been down that road before. As a personal trainer I give tips on everything from how to use dumbbells to how to lose weight, but the most valuable tip I’ll ever give is: schedule fitness.

It’s that simple.

Absolutely, Dawn Taylor . I find that if I don’t schedule it, it won’t happen. My favorite yoga class used to be a never-miss thing. I have to get back to that consistently!
