Want to Live a Happy & Fulfilled Life? Make Sure You Do This!

Harvard study concluded that when it comes to living a life of fulfillment, there’s one thing that people should prioritize above all else. A hint: It has nothing to do with wealth or success; it has nothing to do with social status; and you can begin doing it right away. The Grant & Glueck study, which examined nearly 75 years' worth of data, reveals that the secret to achieving happiness and fulfillment is quite simple: Spend time with the people who make you happy.

According to Robert Waldinger, Harvard professor and director of the center behind the study, “close relationships can make or break a person’s well-being.” It’s important to note that quality, not quantity, is key. “It’s not just the number of friends you have … it’s the quality of the close relationships that matters.”

The bottom line? Waldinger puts it this way: “The good life is built with good relationships.”

I just read the book of Joy, by the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu, they said the exact same thing, that the quality and intimacy in our relationships is the meaning of our lives.

This is so beautiful. It's that feeling of when you see friends from afar or that you haven't seen in a long time and you pick up right where you left off. That quality of friendship just fills me up with happiness. Thanks for sharing Ann Marie Gardinier Halstead! Your tip was pinned. Now others can find it! www.pinterest.com/pin/17831446...
