  • Take care your heart. Plenty of exercise and abstaining from smoking are recommended for cardiovascular health and healthy blood pressure. 
  • Exercise your brain. Be socially active, mindful of your mental health and use your brain often. Intellectual stimulation is associated with reduced risk. 
  • Watch what you eat. Stick to a balanced diet – plenty of fruits and veggies and lean proteins, especially ones rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Think of a Mediterranean diet
