Sometimes You Need to Look Down: The Power of Being Grounded in Your Body

To harness life force energy is to empower yourself, to change, to heal and to create and express who you are. A downward energetic connection is required, which may feel counterintuitive. The familiar notion is that everything positive is found above us, to awaken is to look up, it is not found below your feet, but grounding is necessary for stability, which is the foundation to any connection. 

I like the image of a tree: we grow both downward and upward, we need strong roots to withstand and flourish. Take a minute to ground yourself. You’re part of the Earth, you’re fully supported. Connect to your roots. Feel the power, as they combine with a million other roots. Know your worth, you are part of the Universe, feel the energy of creation reinvigorating you and do this often!
