We might not always notice them, but we are surrounded with an abundance of blessings on a daily basis. When I start feeling weighed down with negativity, I write a gratitude list. Making a gratitude list helps to recognize blessings and keep focus on the good things in life. You can create your list on:
- your phone
- in a word document
- a calendar where you write your blessings each day
My favorite kind of list is the "ABC Gratitude List." When writing an ABC Gratitude List, all you have to do is list something for each letter of the alphabet that you are grateful for. This is something that you can do independently, as a family or even with friends. I like to start my list on social media so my friends can join in and share what they are grateful for also!
