Multitasking is a term mistakenly associated with life situations linked to work or home. Looking through a cognitive lens, multitasking as we know it simply means the whipping of attention back and forth quickly. 

The idea of multitasking doesn't make us more efficient – and it costs us time. Most of us tend to focus on the easy tasks first, rather the challenging ones. It’s important to rethink multitasking by seeing multiple tasks as a single point of focus.
