Turmeric: Add This Healthy Spice to Your Family’s Diet!

Turmeric is a spice that’s thought to help everything from arthritis symptoms and upset stomachs to cholesterol levels - and even rumored to prevent some cancers. And that’s just the start of the health benefits! 

It does have a flavor (it may be unpleasantly noticed in pudding!), but goes easily unnoticed in pizza, pasta sauce, soups, mac ‘n cheese, taco meat and even in brownies! Buy a bottle of reputable, organic turmeric, then slip it in wherever you can hide it. I don’t buy my turmeric fresh and grind it (just not going to happen), but that's an option if you prefer it over the ground.
