Parkinson’s Disease: How to Fight Back Against This Disorder!

Parkinson’s disease is a neurological disorder that causes tremors, stiffness in movement, speech and voice issues. About 10 million people worldwide are diagnosed with this condition. Research has revealed that movement therapy, like Rock Steady Boxing, can alleviate symptoms. The National Parkinson Foundation states that rigorous exercise can improve:

  • gait
  • balance
  • tremor
  • flexibility
  • grip strength
  • motor coordination

Talk to your doctor. This form of exercise is about more than just looking good - it’s about fighting back!
