Suicide Prevention: We Can't Afford to Stay Silent! Watch This! by Dr. Christina Hibbert

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, but with the increase in suicides, it needs to be every month. It's a topic that hits close to home, having lost my sister and several friends to this tragic fate. Those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts:

  • Know you are not alone.
  • Talk. Tell anyone who will listen how you really feel.
  • Ask for help from family, friends, faith community or a medical/mental health provider.
  • Let help in.

We can't afford to stay silent about suicide. With help you can be well. For help, call 800-273-8255 and visit my website for more information!
