Kids Won't or Can't Drink Milk? Try These 11 Foods for Vitamin D!

Not all children can or will drink milk. There are other foods - in limited amounts - that can be used to help supplement vitamin D. Try:

  • cheese
  • yogurt
  • ice cream

Other foods rich in vitamin D include:

  • fatty fish, such as tuna or salmon
  • beef liver
  • egg yolks

In addition, green vegetables like kale and broccoli are great sources of vitamin D. Vitamin D also is added to many foods such as breads, breakfast cereals, orange juice and soy beverages.
