Stuffed Apples: A Healthy & Portable Snack for Kids! Get the Easy Recipe!

I'm constantly trying to come up with creative (and portable) ways to provide healthy snacks for my preschooler. It was actually his suggestion to put something in an apple vs. on it. Here's how I make my stuffed apples!

You'll need:

  • apples
  • peanut butter
  • mix-ins (nut butter, raisins, granola, coconut, crisp rice cereal, etc.)

Here's how to make them:

  1. Cut the core out of an apple out by cutting similar-sized circles on top and bottom.
  2. Use a baby food spoon to scoop peanut butter into the hole where the core was.
  3. Layer in the mix-ins of your choice. (We love SunButter!)

The possibilities are endless! Enjoy!
