National Mojito Day: How to Create a Mojito Bar for Your Next Party (Plus the Recipe)!

At your next adult-only soiree, have a little fun with a mojito bar!

You'll need:

  • cut limes
  • mint
  • a small bowl of sugar
  • rum
  • lemon-lime carbonated drink or club soda

Here's how you do it:

  1. Guests can make their own mojito by adding 1-2 teaspoons of sugar, mint leaves and 2 or 3 lime wedges into a highball glass. (Provide something for them to mash this up with. I used the stone pestle from my mortar and pestle set.)
  2. Then add about 1 shot of rum, ice and finish with a splash of lemon-lime or club soda.

A cheat sheet can be placed near the ingredients to help those who are not mojito connoisseurs. Cheers!

Oh no......have to admit......one of my favorite mixed drinks! Thanks for the recipe. Mojitos are right up there with a good Margarita. Hard to choose.
