Peanut Butter Blossom Bars Recipe Makes a Classic Cookie Even Better by Donna John

Don't you love recipes that put a new twist on an old classic? Peanut butter blossom cookies are a classic, for sure. Who doesn't love that moist peanut butter cookie topped with a chocolate candy kiss? Instead of making traditional cookies, this easy recipe turns those cookies into bars. Fun, right?
To make these peanut butter blossom bars you'll need butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, creamy peanut butter, an egg, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, chocolate chips and Hershey's Kisses. The dough is pressed into a 13x9-inch baking pan and baked until it puffs up and is golden. Have your kisses unwrapped because you'll immediately press them into the top of the hot cookie bars. Let them cool completely, then cut into squares with a kiss in the middle of each.
Serve these peanut butter bars for dessert or as a snack any time. Wrap them individually for class parties, potlucks, cookouts or other family get-togethers.

Donna John . I always find the visuals helpful.
Unfortunately, they'll have to wait awhile, as the ortho surgeon said FIVE weeks in bed, with leg flat out, rather then the 2-3 the ER doc said 😪
But I'd sure give it the old college try - consequences be damned! 😁
