5-Ingredient Italian Baked Country Pork Ribs Recipe Smells & Tastes Heavenly

Five-ingredient brown sugar country ribs are what I'm usually thinking about when I take out of pack of country ribs from the freezer. That is one of my all-time favorite pork recipes. But for some reason with these ribs, I was craving something Italian – and I had some grape tomatoes that needed to be used ASAP.

This five-ingredient recipe packs Italian flavors into country-style ribs. The savory Italian-inspired recipe is quick and easy to make. Put country ribs into a baking dish (bone-in ribs or boneless ribs will work for this recipe). Season the ribs with a little salt and black pepper, then sprinkle generously with your favorite Tuscan seasoning blend. Add some grape tomatoes and drizzle with olive oil. Bake until the ribs are cooked through, then sprinkle with some grated Parmesan cheese. Let the cheese melt (or crisp it up in the oven) and they are ready to be served.

If you don't have a Tuscan spice blend, you could use Italian seasoning or a Mediterranean spice blend. These juicy pork ribs smell fantastic as they bake. While you may not think of country-style ribs working with Italian flavors, they do! Serve these savory baked pork ribs with your favorite side dishes.

Cuisine: Italian / American
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour (ovens vary)
Total Time: 1 hour and 5 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 - 6 country pork ribs (bone-in or boneless)
  • olive oil
  • Tuscan seasoning blend (I used Salt Sisters Tuscan Farmhouse Blend)
  • grape tomatoes
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Here's how to make it:

  1. Drizzle a baking dish with a little olive oil. Put the country ribs in the dish and season both sides with a little salt and pepper. Liberally sprinkle with the Tuscan seasoning blend.
  2. Add the grape tomatoes. Drizzle with a little olive oil.
  3. Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven until ribs are cooked through.
  4. Remove the ribs from the oven and sprinkle with the cheese. You can either just let the cheese melt or pop it back into the oven until the cheese gets crispy.
