This Quick & Easy Tartar Sauce Recipe Is Worthy of the Best Seafood

Tartar sauce is always a fan favorite recipe. When learning all about Faidley's world famous crab cakes, the same tartar sauce recipe kept showing up to be served with them. I love tartar sauce. Homemade tartar sauce is so simple to make and can be prepared with so many flavorful ingredients – from horseradish to capers to olives to lemon. This easy tartar sauce recipe is quick and simple and now part of my tartar sauce recipe arsenal.

The easy tartar sauce recipe is made with basic ingredients: mayonnaise, chopped dill pickles, minced onion, chopped fresh parsley and pickle juice. Whisk all the ingredients together, season with salt and black pepper, and this creamy condiment is ready for that seafood.

Think beyond crab cakes! You could dip chicken nuggets, hushpuppiesclam cakes and even fresh cut-up vegetables in this creamy dip.

Yeah this makes sense. I usually mix mayonnaise and relish, I'll have to try this way it may be less sweet. Thanks for posting!

Years ago a restaurant owner told me to use white pepper. It is a bit zippier than black and has a better taste. Also onion can be "grated" to get the taste and not the chunks!

Great tips!! I love white pepper. An overlooked ingredient.

I'd replace the parsley with fresh dill... cause I'm dilly

Great idea. I love dill, too. Just planted some in my herb garden this weekend.
