Non-Alcoholic Christmas Punch Recipe: A Festive Sparkling Holiday Mocktail

This non-alcoholic holiday punch recipe with cranberries and orange slices is the ideal drink for family gatherings. It’s an easy punch to put together for the holidays, a birthday party, summer BBQ, baby or wedding shower, work event and more. I find it’s nice to have a non-alcoholic drink option not only for the kids but also for adults who may not be drinking (life tip: no need to ask anyone why they’re not drinking!).

This Christmas mocktail punch is made with just a few ingredients, primarily fruit and ginger ale, which is where it gets its “sparkle.” It not only tastes great but it will look beautiful on your table or sideboard, too. If you’d like to dress up individual glasses, you can do so with orange slices, cranberries and rosemary sprigs. If you’d like to offer your guests some alcoholic sparkle instead (or maybe offer two different punch bowls), see below. Cheers!

Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: Makes 1 gallon (about 10 servings)

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (2 liters) cranberry juice
  • 1 bottle (2 liters) ginger ale
  • 1 pound (16 ounces) frozen cranberries
  • ice
  • 1 large orange, sliced
  • 1 smaller orange, sliced, for garnish (optional)
  • fresh cranberries, for garnish (optional)
  • fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Here's how to make it:

  1. Pour cranberry juice and ginger ale in a large punch bowl.
  2. Add frozen cranberries, large orange slices and ice.
  3. Garnish with a small orange slice on the rim of the glass, cranberries and a fresh rosemary sprig.

Note: To make this an alcoholic punch, add one from this list, to the punch: prosecco (or sparkling wine), rum, tequila, Triple Sec or vodka.
