Mouth-Watering Herb-Crusted Pork Tenderloin Recipe Is Juicy & Tender

Pork tenderloin is always a family favorite. Not only is this cut of pork relatively inexpensive, but it cooks up quickly and is so versatile. This herb-crusted pork tenderloin recipe is flavored with Dijon mustard, garlic and soy sauce before being sprinkled with fresh herbs, seared and then baked. The whole process takes less than 30 minutes – start to finish.

You can switch up the fresh herbs in this juicy baked pork recipe, or even use dry herbs. Not a fan of herbs at all? Leave them out! The pork will still be flavorful from the mustard, soy sauce and garlic. Serve this 30-minute meal with a fresh vegetable, grain, salad or your favorite side dishes. Use the leftovers for pork sandwiches

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary 
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

Here's how to make it: 

  1. Combine the mustard, 1 tablespoon of the olive oil, garlic and soy sauce. Brush the mixture all over the pork tenderloin. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. 
  2. Combine the rosemary, parsley and thyme. Sprinkle over the pork, pressing so it adheres.
  3. Heat the remaining oil in a skillet. Add the pork and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Put the pork onto a baking sheet. 
  4. Bake in a preheated 400-degree F oven for about 15 to 18 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. Let the tenderloin rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
