  • 12 ounces fresh or frozen cranberries (thawed if frozen) 
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • If you don't have a food processor, you can chop the cranberries by hand with a sharp knife. 
  • If you want some crunch, throw in some chopped nuts.
  • An easy way to wash the cranberries is to put them into a mesh strainer and run them under cold water.

Here's how to make it: 

  1. Put the cranberries into a food processor and pulse to chop. Pour into a bowl. Add the sugar. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Add the pineapple and marshmallows. Mix well.
  3. Whip the cream with an electric mixer or whisk until stiff peaks are formed. Fold the cream into the cranberry mixture. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
