When I was searching for new cold dip recipes to make this weekend, I ran across this "boat dip" recipe that went viral on TikTok. My first question was, "Why is it called boat dip?" Is it a fish dip? Crab dip? Nope. It's basically a Mexican taco dip that people seem to like eating on a boat. Hmmm. I decided you can eat this dip anywhere you want.
With sour cream, taco seasoning, shredded cheese and tomatoes and green chiles, this creamy dip is loaded with Mexican flavors. I served it with large "scoopable" corn chips, but it would be just as good with tortilla chips or even cut-up vegetables.

- 16 ounces sour cream
