Shopska Salad Recipe: The Best 3-Ingredient Bulgarian Salad Recipe for Summer by 30Seconds Food
Shopska salad is a salad recipe popular in Southeastern Europe. The salad has three ingredients – tomatoes, cucumbers and sirene cheese – and the colors represent the Bulgarian flag. It is Bulgaria's most famous recipe.
This shopska salad recipe is so easy to make, and is the perfect dinner side dish or served at your next cookout, potluck or family gathering. If you want to make it a meal, add some diced salami, prosciutto or ham. Because there's only three main players, use the freshest produce you can find. If you can't find sirene cheese, use feta.
