4-Ingredient Skillet Pork Chops Recipe With Smoked Paprika & Charred Lemons by 30Seconds Food
Juicy thick-cut pork chops are liberally seasoned with smoked paprika and then pan seared to perfection. The charred lemon cooks at the same time and adds acidity and a brightness to the pork. This pork chop recipe is so delicious!
You could use thin-cut-pork chops, just reduce the cooking time. An orange could be substituted for the lemon. Serve this easy 20-minute recipe with your favorite side dishes.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 to 15 minutes depending on thickness of pork chops
Total Time: 15 to 20 minutes
- 2 thick-cut pork chops
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika (or to taste)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 lemon, cut into slices
Here's how to make it:
- Season the pork chops with salt, pepper and the smoked paprika. Be generous with the paprika!
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Add the pork chops and cook until well browned on one side. Flip the chops over and move to one side of the pan. Add the lemon slices to the other side.
- Put the butter into the pan. Continue to cook the chops over medium heat, basting with the melted butter, until cooked to desired doneness. Flip the lemon slices over occasionally until soft and beginning to brown. Serve the pork chops with the lemon slices.
