Ingredients
- 4 - 5 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (28 ounces) baked beans
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup brewed coffee
Here's how to make it:
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, about 6 to 7 minutes. Remove to a paper towel, leaving the bacon grease in the pan. Add the onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
- Add the bacon, beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, mustard and coffee. Mix well. Pour into a baking dish.
- Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 2 hours.
