Healthy Rosemary Roasted Walnuts Recipe Is What to Munch On

Sometimes you just need a handful of nuts – because your stomach growled or to complement that glass of wine you're sipping on. Instead of paying an arm and a leg for a specialty bag of flavored nuts, make your own! Not only are these roasted walnuts delicious, walnuts have health benefits, too!

This easy roasted walnuts recipe is flavored with woodsy rosemary. The nuts take just minutes to make and smell incredible as they roast in the oven. Put a bowl out at your next get-together, munch on them on Wine Wednesday or add them to a charcuterie board.

Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook Time: 6 to 8 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 - 2 teaspoons finely minced fresh rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

Here's how to make it:

  1. Put the walnuts into a bowl. Add the olive oil and rosemary. Season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
  2. Pour the nuts into a baking pan or casserole dish.
  3. Bake in a preheated 400-degree F oven for about 6 to 8 minutes. Store in an airtight container.

Made some of these last night to take on my weekend trip with my daughter. We're going on a wine tour tomorrow, so going to pop them in my purse! They're so good!
