Homemade Dried Italian Seasoning Recipe Makes All the Difference

A friend of mine makes an incredible soup recipe that she recently gave to me. After making it at home, I let her know that mine was nowhere near as delicious as when she makes it. No, she didn't leave out an ingredient that we hear some home cooks do when sharing their recipes – she uses homemade Italian seasoning instead of the pre-made one that I had used. It really did make all the difference!

This easy homemade Italian seasoning blend recipe is easy to make and will keep in your pantry for about six months. Use it in any recipe calling for dried Italian seasoning and see for yourself what a little DIY can do.

Cuisine: Italian
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

Servings: Makes about 9 tablespoons

Ingredients

Here's how to make it:

  1. Combine all the ingredients in an airtight container.
  2. Stir to combine. Store in the pantry for up to six months.
