The Pioneer Woman Cookware: My Honest Thoughts on Ree Drummond & Her Cookware Sets

Ree Drummond, known as The Pioneer Woman to her fans, is a cook, blogger, author and television personality who shares her expert cooking advice and more from her family’s ranch in Pawhuska, Okla. Ree, a former “city girl,” is best known for her Food Network show The Pioneer Woman.

I first became aware of The Pioneer Woman in an unusual way – while getting a pedicure. Once I forgot to bring my book with me and therefore paid attention to what was on TV at the nail salon. The television closest to me was playing The Pioneer Woman. I’m not one to watch cooking shows, but I was quickly drawn in by Ree’s warmth and her engaging and fun personality. I also found the ranch setting beautiful and learned a thing or two!

Since then I’ve noticed that Ree seems to be everywhere! She has a magazine and is the author of several cookbooks. In addition, she and her husband own several properties and businesses in Pawhuska. Ree even has her own line of home décor, clothing and cookware.

My husband and I have needed new pots and pans for a while now and I remembered that Ree had her own line of kitchenware. I looked into it, read the reviews and ended up buying one of her cookware sets. I didn’t know I could love a set of pots and pans this much! They’re nonstick and made of enameled porcelain. I must admit that it does make a difference to cook with better cookware. Everything seems to cook more evenly and nothing sticks to the pans. And they’re so easy to clean.

Ree’s team is not paying me to write this, I swear! I just felt compelled to share what I know. I only learned about The Pioneer Woman by happenstance and am so glad I did. I wanted to pass on what I’ve learned to you. For more about Ree and her work, you can visit ThePioneerWoman.com

Here’s one of The Pioneer Woman’s most popular dessert recipes, her chocolate sheet cake recipe. In fact, it happens to be one of her daughter Alex’s favorites! Get the recipe!

She was on my short list when I bought new pots and pans a few years ago. I went with Rachel Rey, which was a mistake. Wish I had read this first. I'm shopping again for cookware less than 3 years later. I do have a couple of The Pioneer Woman's knives and 3 of cookbooks. Ann Marie Gardinier Halstead

Wow, Ann Marie Gardinier Halstead , this cookware looks as useful as it is beautiful! Had no idea about it, even though I love Ree, so thanks for passing on the tips. I love the blue color, too!
