Batter
- 1 stick butter (1/2 cup), melted
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 cups boiling water

Here's how to make it:
- Pour the melted butter into a 13x9-inch baking pan.
- Combine the sugar, cocoa powder, flour, milk and vanilla in a bowl. Mix well. Dollop the mixture on top of the melted butter. Do not stir!
- In another bowl, combine the 2 cups of sugar and 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. Sprinkle the mixture over the batter.
