July 4th Flag Cake Recipe: A Fun No-Bake Patriotic Recipe for Independence Day by Elisa Schmitz

Sometimes, the simple things in life make holidays better. Less stress, less mess, more time spent with loved ones. And, one of my favorite things to do with my kids is create things in our kitchen. Holidays are a perfect time for this.
On Memorial Day or July 4th, they help marinate the meats, make salads, etc. Dessert? I leave it up to them entirely. They love to make this yummy flag cake, and I love this easy recipe for a fun and patriotic flag cake that kids can help make. Spend some time together and have a sweet treat as a result!
