Baked Mixed Nuts Recipe in Honey: How Will You Eat This Sweet Toasted Mixed Nuts Recipe?

By now we've all seen the commercial with Ken Jeong and Joel McHale about how to eat mixed nuts. A handful at a time or one at a time? We're throwing something else into the debate: should you eat them plain or soaked in honey? And the plot thickens!

This toasted nuts in honey recipe can be spooned over cream cheese, baked apples, yogurt, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles or served on a charcuterie board. Plus, the sweet recipe makes a great food gift! How will you use this mixed nut recipe?

Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 8 to 10 minutes
Total Time: 13 to 15 minutes

Servings: Makes 2 6-ounce jars

Ingredients

Here's how to make it:

  1. Put the nuts onto a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and cool.
  2. Divide the toasted nuts between two mason jars with a lid (or use one 12-ounce jar).
  3. Fill with the honey to cover the nuts completely. Put the lids on and let the jars sit for a few hours before using.
