Tart, creamy and refreshing, this easy lemon sauce recipe cooks in less than 10 minutes. This sweet lemon sauce is the perfect topping for pancakeswaffles, scones, pound cake, oatmeal or your favorite dessert recipe. The easy lemon sauce would also be an incredible dip for sugar cookies.

The easy low-sodium luscious lemon sauce recipe is made with granulated sugar, cornstarch, fresh lemon juice, egg yolks, water and lemon extract (extra lemony goodness!). All the ingredients are whisked together in a saucepot and cooked until thick. So easy.

Is this like a lemon curd? Could you preserve this like lemon curd or a jam? Sounds delicious.

It's similar to lemon curd, but much thinner. If you processed it like jelly/jam, I don't see why you couldn't preserve it. Great idea.
