This easy cookie recipe is full of moist, healthy blueberries and is the perfect snack or even an on-the-go breakfast.

With 10 simple ingredients, this tender blueberry oatmeal cookie is perfect dipped into coffee or milk. Here's your shopping list: butter, vegetable oil, brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, flour, baking soda, dash of salt, old-fashioned oats and fresh blueberries.

With just 10 minutes of prep and 15 minutes of baking, you've got an easy, delicious cookie that makes a wonderful dessert (ready in only about 25 minutes)!

Here's how to make it:

  1. Beat the butter, vegetable oil and brown sugar together until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla. Mix well.
  2. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt and oats. Whisk to combine. Stir into the wet ingredients.
  3. Fold in the blueberries. 
  4. Drop tablespoons full of dough onto baking sheets. Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 13 to 15 minutes or until edges are beginning to brown. Remove to cool. 
  5. Garnish with powdered sugar, if desired.

i only have frozen blue berries will they work just as well or do i need to do some thing to them befor i put them in the oatmeal blueberry cookie recipe
