So interesting how many Amish recipes call for canned soup. I'm sure it helps to make the recipes so easy and flavorful! #yum Donna John

I know, right? So many Amish recipes use prepackaged ingredients. I'm betting it's just a shortcut for us homecooks who use modern conveniences.

Great meal. I was a little skeptical because I mixed the soup and milk separately before adding to the meat and pasta, it did not look great and I was scared my family wouldn’t like it. They raved about it and my youngest said it was definitely a do again!

I notice the recipe calls for *condensed* tomato soup, but NOT condensed cream of mushroom soup. I was only able to get condensed cream of mushroom soup, so should I follow the instructions on the back to make it into a soup, or use it in the condensed form? I am worried about adding too much liquid to the recipe.

Thanks!
Donna John
Do not follow the soup can directions, but the directions above. No added water.
