Go Big This Weekend With This Belgian Waffles Recipe for Brunch or Breakfast

Belgian waffles are lighter and usually bigger than regular, basic waffles. Belgian waffles usually have a lighter batter and bigger squares that hold more of whatever you pour over them. Originally, Belgian waffles were made with yeast, but now most recipes call for baking powder.

This easy waffle batter is made with flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, eggs, milk, melted butter and vanilla extract. The batter is cooked until golden in a waffle iron. These Belgian waffles are the perfect weekend breakfast or brunch

Fill the holes of this easy Belgian waffle recipe with our brown sugar syrup or serve them with honey, maple syrup or fresh fruit. You can also make extra and freeze them for quick breakfasts during the busy week. Don't forget a side of bacon or breakfast sausage!
