Cook Time: 45 minutes
Total Time: 50 minutes
Servings: 6 to 8
- 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked according to package directions
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 can (10 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10 ounces) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup panko or breadcrumbs (I used panko)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoons dried parsley flakes (optional)
Here's how to make it:
Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
Combine the cooked egg noodles, beef, peas, soups and sour cream.
Stir well to combine. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, panko and parsley flakes.
Sprinkle the panko over the top.
Cover the casserole dish with a lid or aluminum foil. Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 25 minutes. Uncover and bake until top is golden brown, about 20 minutes more.
