2-Ingredient Lemon Granita Recipe Is So Light & Refreshing

It's going to be hard to find a spring or summer dessert that's more refreshing than this easy lemon granita recipe. And with just two ingredients? Come on now!

Serve this delicious lemon ice in small plastic dessert cups, hollowed out lemon halves or even snow cone cups. Such a light and lovely lemon dessert.

Ingredients

Here's how to make it:

  1. Put the sugar and water into a saucepot over low heat. Cook, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. Turn the heat off and stir in the lemon juice. (If you want to add yellow food coloring, add it now.)
  2. Pour the mixture into a shallow pan or loaf pan. Freeze about 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
