Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups lemon juice
- yellow food coloring (optional)
Here's how to make it:
- Put the sugar and water into a saucepot over low heat. Cook, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. Turn the heat off and stir in the lemon juice. (If you want to add yellow food coloring, add it now.)
- Pour the mixture into a shallow pan or loaf pan. Freeze about 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
