Easy Fried Apple Rings Recipe: Cinnamon-Sugar Apple Rings Are a Fresh & Fun Snack or Quick Breakfast

Looking for a fresh and fun breakfast idea? Instead of pancakes, make your family this easy fried apple rings recipe. Serve them plain, or drizzle with honey or maple syrup. Simply delicious!

Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes

Servings: 4 to 5

  • 4 - 5 large apples, peeled, cored and cut into rings

Here's how to make it:

  1. Combine the egg, milk and oil in a bowl. Whisk to combine. In another bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon and baking powder. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry.
  2. Heat about 2 cups of oil in a skillet or deep fryer to 375 degrees F.
  3. Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Set aside.
  4. Dip the apple rings into the batter and put into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove and place on paper towels, and immediately sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar. Repeat with the remaining apple rings.

Variation: Sprinkle the fried apple rings with powdered sugar instead of cinnamon and sugar.
