Not a fan of vegetables? Well, then you haven't tried this easy garlic green bean recipe topped with mozzarella and Parmesan. The yum factor has been upped with this easy vegetable recipe

You only need five ingredients for these tasty green beans. Here is your short and simple shopping list: fresh green beans, olive oil, garlic, mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. The beans are put into a baking sheet, seasoned with salt and black pepper, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with garlic. Bake, then top with both cheeses. Delish! 

Serve these cheesy garlic green beans as a side dish for dinner any night, or add them to your Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter menu. You can't go wrong!

  • 1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • This delicious vegetable recipe can be doubled or even tripled for larger families. 
  • Feel free to change up the cheeses. Gruyere, gouda, fontina, asiago, provolone, white cheddar or a cheese blend would make these green beans sing.
  • For easier cleanup, cover the bottom of the baking pan with aluminum foil. 

Here's how to make it:

  1. Spread the green beans evenly on the bottom of a 13x9-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with the garlic and drizzle with the olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. 
  2. Bake in a preheated 425-degree F oven for about 20 minutes. 
  3. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese, followed by the mozzarella cheese. Bake another 5 minutes or until cheese has melted.
