This classic casserole recipe is a classic because it's easy, comforting and delicious. It reminds us of what grandma (or mom) used to make! With rotini pasta, tuna, green pea in a sauce made with cream of mushroom soup, milk, Parmesan and garlic powder, it's a satisfying budget-friendly dinner

If you have any leftovers of this easy tuna noodle casserole, add a little milk when reheating. If you don't like tuna, you could add chicken instead. Serve this easy tuna casserole recipe with a salad or nothing at all. Just grab a fork. Done.

  • 4 cups cooked rotini pasta
  • 2 cans tuna, drained
  • 2 cups frozen peas, thawed
  • 2 cans (10 ounces each) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Here's how to make it:

  1. Put the pasta, tuna and peas into a bowl.
  2. Add the cream of mushroom soup, milk, cheese and garlic powder. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into a 13x9-inch baking dish. Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 20 minutes.
