Korean-style short ribs are cut thin, making them ideal for busy weeknight dinners because they cook so quickly. This mouth-watering Korean short ribs recipe packs so much Asian flavor and cooks in just minutes. 

Serve this delicious dinner recipe with fried rice and baby bok choy, or other favorite vegetables

Ingredients

  • Korean-style short ribs

Marinade

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil or canola oil

Here's how to make them:

  1. Combine all the marinade ingredients in a plastic zipper bag. Add the short ribs and marinate at least 1 hour and up to overnight.
  2. When ready to cook, remove the ribs from the marinade. Cook on a hot indoor grill, outdoor grill or in a cast iron skillet for about 3 minutes per side.
