It's made with flour, baking powder, baking soda, butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, an egg, vanilla, ricotta cheese and mini semisweet chocolate chips. The cookies bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, then are cooled. So easy.

These tender Italian cookies make the perfect snack or light dessert after dinner.

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mini semisweet chocolate chips
