- 1 boneless turkey breast
- olive oil
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 1 sprig fresh thyme
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
Here's how to make it:
- To make the cranberry sauce, combine all the ingredients in a pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook until cranberries start to burst, stirring often, about 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the herbs and mash until sauce is smooth. Set aside.
- For the turkey breast, season it with salt and pepper, to taste. Drizzle with olive oil. Place it in a baking dish.
- Cover the turkey breast with the cranberry sauce. Bake in a preheated 375-degree F oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Allow the turkey breast to rest for about 10 minutes before cutting. Serve with any leftover cranberry sauce.
